Meet The New Additions At Mix 106

Between Corbin Maxey with his porcupine and the wild turkey running around town, it really is a zoo here at Mix 106. Yesterday we got two new additions to our wildlife sanctuary!

The Mix 106 studios are along the Boise River east of Bronco Stadium. Across the street from us is Washington Group. Terri and Renee are two of our 12 listeners and we are always emailing each other about the wildlife we have down here. Raccoons, deer, a wild turkey and now deer twins a.k.a fawns! They were born yesterday morning, right outside the windows of Washington Group. We've had twin fawns a few years ago, but sadly one of them had a fatal run in with our pond. We've never been able to see them this early! They are tiny!

Our wildlife refuge over here covers the north side of Park Blvd (Washington Group building) to the Boise River along the south side of the Mix 106 studios, so please keep your eye out for our new babies when traveling along Park Blvd, ParkCenter Blvd, and if you are coming into the Mix 106 studio parking lot to pick up prizes. Early in the morning and late in the evening is when they move the most. We are guessing right now Mom and Mary-Kate and Ashley (Mike and I think they are girls) are bedded down. But it won't be long until the outings begin so be cautious and keep an eye out of our new additions!
