Jumping on a scale has always been a scary thing for me. Yes. I am afraid of the scale. Weight and body image issues are primarily looked at as only affecting females, but there are many men who are struggling with the same issues. Seeing those numbers roll up and down effect me. They can wreck a day and I just can't help it. For years, I have struggled with body image issues.

Watching this video, hit me hard. My weight in the world is not judged on the way that I look or how physically perfect I try and make myself or cold hard number. I could spend hours at the gym and become the next David Beckham, but would still fell inadequate.

Since becoming a Dad to two young amazing boys, I want to show them that it's about what we do, and how we impact others around us that is truly they way that we should be "weighed". Not by a number, but do we show love, are we understanding, do we try harder everyday to be better than we were the day before, am I compassionate enough. I will continue to try and replace the fear of the numbers and replace them with how am I contributing to the world around me. That is how I will #WeighThis . Now comes the big question, How Will You Weigh Yourself?
