Eagle Island State Park made the decision to close on Saturday because flood waters from the Boise River are rising around the park’s entrance and have flooded parts of the land within the park.  For the safety of their visitors, they plan to keep the gates closed until further notice.

The flooding issue continues to cause problems in the Treasure Valley, from the most recent evacuations at the Mobile Home park in Eagle, to the damage at new construction sites.
