Spring is slowing making it's way into the Treasure Valley and with the changing temperatures Bogus Basin and Brundage Mountain will remain open.

I was really planing on making it up to the mountain before spring hit but this just gives me and you a few more chances. Bogus and Brundage representatives said this week that the resorts will stay open until April 3rd for full 7 day operations. A few dates to remember the weekend of April 9th and 10 as well as the 16th and 17th the lifts will be running for the final times from 9 A.M to 4 P.M. The last few weeks have been so fickle with temps in the 60's one day and 30s the next. The work force as well as the skier traffic has been reduced. When it's nice in the valley it seems like people get busier doing other events and recreations around the city. So getting up to ski seems to be a little bit further down on the list. I guess the nice thing about this season is that if you looked back to this time last year Bogus and Brundage were both closed by March 13th.

Tamarack is closing down early this season. This Sunday will be the final day of the operations for this ski season.

Will you be making the final weekend trip up to the mountain for some Spring Skiing? -JD
