Mercury Is In Retrograde

Mike casually mentioned that Mercury was in retrograde. I immediately had to find out what that meant and figure out if I need to go buy a lotto ticket immediately!

I believe my horoscope...when it says something positive. I actually do put stock in the zodiac and believe when you were born has an affect on your life. So when Mike mentioned that Mercury was in retrograde, I immediately had to find out how that affects the next three weeks of my life. Is this good news? Is this something to look forward to? Should I stay in bed for the next three weeks? Is this the time my summer crush will enter my life? I have a lot of questions! Let's start with, "What does Mercury in retrograde mean?"

Three times a year, it appears as if Mercury is going backwards for about three weeks. This time was traditionally associated with confusions, delay, and frustration. The planet Mercury rules communication, travel, contracts, automobiles, and such.

January 21 – February 11
May 19 – June 11
September 17 – October 9
