Idaho Headed Back to Stage 3 as The Coronavirus Cases Spike
We knew that Gov. Brad Little was making an announcement but this one felt like it wasn't going to be a fun moment. You know something is up when it's posted as, "Important Coronavirus announcement."
Cases continue to soar across the country and Idaho is as well. We have seen that hospitals are beginning to be overcrowded. These are all the signs we saw in major cities when the pandemic first began.
Well, it's official. The entire state of Idaho has just been rolled back to stage 3. Ada County has been in stage 3 while Canyon County is in stage 4. The problem is all the spikes in cases statewide that Gov. Little said was unacceptable and we need to get things contained. Idaho isn't the only state with spikes in cases.
Neighbors like Utah are headed into a dangerous area as hospitals are overwhelmed. This means staff will have to prioritize what can be dealt with and that is dangerous.
Stage 3 goes into effect on October 27 at midnight statewide.
- Public and Private gatherings of 50 people or less.
- Nightclubs open as bars.
- Physical distancing
- Wear masks when appropriate
- 14-day self-quarantine entering from other states
- Large venues remain closed

The most important part of all this is to stay positive and don't let social media stir up emotions. This is going to pass and it's just better to be safe right now. We just saw teachers in Kuna test positive and they just went remote. I really don't know what will happen but it's better to be safe than sorry.
