The temperature has definitely dropped in Boise these past few days and, even though I want so badly to get out and look at Christmas lights and go to winter events, I find myself hesitating because of the cold. If you're like me and looking for something fun and warm to do indoors with your kids in the coming weeks, you're going to love Boise Depot's Open House.

On Thursday, December 14, Boise's historic train depot will open its doors from 5:30-8:30 p.m. for an open house and Polar Express story time with the train conductor. Your family will enjoy hot cocoa, free face painting, and model train displays. While this event is free to the public, visitors are encouraged to bring a donation for Toys for Tots.

Spots for the Polar Express story time at 6pm are also free, but expected to fill up quickly. Reserve yours, HERE.
