East Boise Neighborhoods See An Increase In Burglaries

The Columbia Village area of East Boise has seen an increase in burglaries of cars and garages in that particular area. They are urging homeowners to lock their vehicles and keep valuables out of sight. This includes garage door openers which can be used to access the house.

Police suggest that residents photograph and document serial numbers of all valuables, including firearms, jewelry, bicycles, lawn equipment, electronics, and power tools.

Anyone who sees any suspicious activity in the area, or know about any of the burglaries, is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
