It's time to trade in last year's ski equipment for new equipment! The Bogus Basin Ski Swap event is happening this weekend, November 6th - November 8th. Of course there will be modified changes in order to comply with coronavirus guidelines. The biggest difference this year is the location. The ski swap will not be held at Expo Idaho since the location does not allow for social distancing. Instead, three different stores will have ski equipment for sale and exchange this weekend: McQ Sports, Play It Again, and Idaho Mountain Touring.

You can stop by any or all of the three stores Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10am-6pm to exchange equipment.  Please note, that you must complete Ski Swap's Customer Product form prior to dropping off your items. Both McU Sports locations will begin accepting items on Friday, October 23rd until 12 pm on Saturday, November 7th. According to the Ski Swap's Facebook page, Boise Ski Retailers purchased equipment early last spring (pre-COVID) specifically for this weekend.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale and exchange will go to the Bogus Basin Ski Education Foundation.

After you swap out your equipment for new equipment, there are some changes to expect at Bogus Basin this year prior to hitting the slopes. Ticket sales will be limited on peak days and night skiing hours have been extended from 3pm - 10pm. You will also  not bed asked to ride the ski lifts when anyone outside of your party.
