Starbucks Holiday Drinks Are Here!

As I rolled up to Starbucks at Broadway and Belmont this morning, I saw lots of green and red and a Barista with Reindeer Antlers on her head. Here's what's new in 2020.

Every year, Idahoans anxiously await the moment they'll see Starbucks' holiday cups and get to sip on holiday drinks. Take a look at this year's cups!

Also, TODAY is the day you need to roll through Starbucks and get a Christmas-y drink and scoop up one of their classic Peppermint Mochas or a Chestnut Praline Latte.

It's funny how in some ways, Starbucks guide us through the seasons with their drinks. Think about it! In the Spring and summer they always have tropical, fruity teas and things, by the time fall comes around the serve up the Pumpkin Spice Latte and now the Pumpkin Cold Brew as well. Then when the winter comes around they hit us with the Peppermint Mocha and all. Starbucks definitely has a stronghold on our coffee decisions, ya know?

There are a lot of great local coffee shops in Boise and the Treasure Valley as well. I've written about them here. One of my favorite drinks is one you can get year round over at the Human Bean and that is their frozen hot chocolate! This is not a chocolate shake. This is literally frozen hot chocolate with whipped cream and they serve it with one of their chocolate covered beans. So all of these different coffee spots have earned a space in my heart.
