Boise Spring Run, 5K, 10K, and Half-Marathon Coming

I guess it just depends on how long that you've lived in Boise. Runners would probably agree that there was no shortage of special runs in Boise. You could just google a weekend looking for a 5K or marathon and come across one.

The Pandemic definitely shut those down including Race for the Cure and FitOne Everything became a virtual event and while that cool, it's just not the same. Well, things are changing and I found a race coming up that we're all invited to. The Boise Spring Run is back.

It's time to dust of your sneakers, grab some friends, and sign-up for this year's Boise Spring Run. The BSR is a race that includes a 5K, 10K, and half-marathon for enthusiastic runners. I like this because it's just fun with zero pressure to impress. If you want to show off your medal, running times, and bragging rights this is your run. If you want to bring a stroller and enjoy a nice Spring day in Boise, this is your run.

Things begin with a nice run through the Greenbelt beginning at 7 AM on May 1, 2021. You'll need to register at 7 AM with race times beginning at 8 AM.

• 5K - $35
• 10K - $45
• Half Marathon - $65

Medals will be awarded to everyone that finishes a race including a special shirt. That's all we do this for anyways right, the medal?

You can register online and will be able to pick up your packets the morning prior to start times. Timing chips will be in race bibs, no worries. Strollers are allowed, but not your pups. You can find more below. Hurry to register now!
