The NFL Playoffs are underway and we’re all getting ramped up for Super Bowl LVI (56) – and what better way for us Idahoans and Boise State fans to prepare than by learning up on which players came from the Boise State Broncos?

Boise State has had several former players play in and some who have won football's ultimate prize.

Idaho is notorious for many things … potatoes, trees, the Boise Broncos, the large variety of indoor and outdoor adventures etc. These are things we all seem to know a fair bit about, but when it comes to athletes from this area … maybe not so much. So, here are a couple of them that you may have forgotten about or maybe even never knew about.

Boise's population has absolutely boomed recently, but a lot of these newcomers come from warmer climates. If they hope to survive Idaho's winter, they should adopt this winter hobby.

Being that Idaho does not have a professional football team in the NFL, many Idahoans like supporting other, somewhat “local” football teams like the Seattle Seahawks, the Las Vegas Raiders, or the Denver Broncos. But in this case, it might be more about supporting a local person.

If he fixes the 'rookie' mistakes, the Broncos could be back in business.

The NFL is full of players that have ties to Idaho. Some of those players grew up here, while others came to the Gem State for college and will forever have roots in the state.
