Ever watch the show Naked and Afraid? Or maybe when Bear Griles was on TV and he would travel to these crazy destinations and show you how to survive if you needed to by eating insects. Well, forget about booking the plane ticket to a far off land, the wild is coming to Boise starting Saturday.

The Idaho Botanical Garden is hosting a feast for your flavor buds Saturday from 10 a.m. to  3 p.m. for the annual Bug Day. All day you can taste the crispy crawlers like ants, grasshoppers, and crickets. Does it sound a little gross, lol yeah lol but at the same time aren't you interested? If you aren't, then your kids will love to see Mom take a bit of a creepy crawler. This is a family friendly and educational event that while you are tasting the product you can also learn about them. Flavors will be running wild with varieties of buffalo wild wing, cheesy ranch, and of course, any menu isn't complete until you add some bacon to it.
