They've been serving up delicious Chinese dishes to the Treasure Valley for thirty years but they've suddenly closed their doors for good.

Confucius Restaurant in Boise is gone. The long-time standing restaurant off of Fairview Avenue opened their doors back in 1989, so why are they closing up shop?

The owners have decided to retire, so as they say, all good things must come to an end.

I'm super bummed I missed out on Confucius because it sounds delicious!

They were known for an extensive menu of Chinese-style favorites including Cantonese dishes as well as American made dishes such as burgers and Idaho's famous finger steaks!

I love restaurants like Confucius because there is always something on the menu for everyone, even if you have picky kids who want a burger!

According to boisedev.com Confucius stood when many other businesses failed around it including two theaters and a Smith's grocery store which was bought out byFred Myer.

Best wishes to Antionio and Tully Wong for a great retirement! We appreciate you bringing your talents to Boise for so many years!
