Wheaties Beer, The Breakfast of Champions?

If you've always believed BEER is the real breakfast of champions, but other, so called “friends” instead, think you have a "problem", guess who's laughing now?

WHEATIES is teaming up with a craft brewery in Minneapolis to create a brand new beer called Hefe-Wheaties.

There are a few catches though.  One, even though the brewery is teaming up with Wheaties, they aren't going to use actual Wheaties to brew the beer, but it's a wheat beer  just like Wheaties is a wheat cereal.

And two, unfortunately, Hefe-Wheaties isn't going to be available here in Idaho anytime soon.  HefeWheatiesis is only going to be available in the Minneapolis area.  It goes on sale August 26th and won't ship anywhere outside of Minnesota.

But if it's a big hit, the brewery says they'll consider doing another, bigger roll out sometime in the future.

I’m not a big fan of Wheaties or beer, but if they ever come out with a Hefe-CaptainCrunch I'm totally in, especially if it's Hefe-PeanutbutterCapnCrunch.
