Boise's craft beer industry just keeps growing, and the newest addition will celebrate its grand opening this Friday and Saturday near Boise State.

Lost Grove Brewing sits right there in the Lusk District at 1026 S. La Pointe Street, pretty close to some apartments within walking distance of Boise State.  And you can bar hop to The Shed too, since it's in that same area.

Lost Grove says on Facebook they'll have a grand opening Oct. 6 and 7 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Two words.  Food trucks!  They'll be at Lost Grove Friday Oct. 6, along with live music and the craft beer of course.  And the Idaho Statesman says fifty percent of proceeds from the night will be donated to the Women’s and Children’s Alliance, and Premier Mortgage will match that.  On Saturday, Oct. 7, more music and food trucks, and fifty percent of proceeds will be donated to Boise Bicycle Project, again with Premier Mortgage matching.

The goal is to make the grand opening weekend a no-waste event, and that means the drinking won't happen from a disposable container.  Lost Grove says $6 dollars gets you a stainless steel pint glass and your choice of beer, with $4 refills all night.

With all of the great options for a brew, Boise is quickly becoming the craft beer capital of the free world it seems.  So if you feel like celebrating something this Friday and Saturday and you just don't know what, there's your excuse.  Cheers!
