New Boise App Connects Craft Beer Drinkers With Brewers
There's a handy new app created in Boise that will help craft beer drinkers know where to go to try some new brews. At half-price.
The craft beer industry has been growing like crazy around Boise over the past couple of years, and the new app might help keep track of it all.
If you subscribe to the app called TapTokens, it will connect you to local breweries, cideries and meaderies and give you four virtual tokens each month that you can use for half-priced brews.
Boise Weekly points out that the app is a fresh take on perk cards. And if you end up discovering a favorite new beer, you can tag it so you'll be sure to remember the next day in case things get fuzzy during the sampling. And the app lets you follow individual breweries and will send you notifications about brewery events.
The Treasure Valley breweries that have partnered with TapTokens so far:
Payette Brewing Company
Longdrop Cider
Lost Grove Brewing
Clairvoyant Brewing Company
Bella Brewing
Mad Swede Brewing Company
Crescent Brewery
Heritage Hop Haus
There's a $4.99 subscription fee, which might be less than the cost of a beer. Cheers!
