Union Block Eatery Now Open Downtown

No better way to start the new year than finding new and exciting places to get your grub on. It's not surprising that the latest in good eats has popped up in downtown Boise. The newest restaurant in the Mai Thai Group family is Union Block Bar & Eatery, and it's located right next door to Mai Thai Modern Asian Cuisine.

The menu boasts 30 mouth watering items, with something for everyone. A definite standout is the Duck Confit:12 hour confit duck sautéed with onions and peppers, served with linguini tossed in béchamel. That's quite the fancy meal for just $16! Is a burger more your speed? The Pork Belly Burger is loaded with sriracha candied bacon, red onion, and whiskey BBQ sauce. Seriously, everything on this menu is incredible.

And just in time for Veganuary, most items can be made vegan! As a year round vegan, this is exciting. From the Crispy Chicken Sandwich and Bolognese, to the Duck Flatbread and Meatball Hoagie, Union Block can give you the vegan twist if you want it!
