This Idaho School Will Put Students Back in the Classroom Tomorrow
We have one school here in the Treasure Valley that is resuming class inside the classroom tomorrow. This is what they are doing to try to keep their students and staff safe.
Nampa Christian students will be back in the classroom for three weeks. Superintendent, Greg Wiles told the Idaho Statesman that the private school surveyed their parents and the majority wanted to resume in-person classes. They are giving the option to continue online learning to any students or teachers who feel uncomfortable returning to class.
Nampa Christian will shorten their school week to four days with shortened hours. They are also staggering schedules to avoid the flooding of students in hallways and pickup zones. They plan to practice social distancing of 6-feet apart as much as they possibly can and hand sanitizer will be in every classroom, which students must use before and after each class.
What are your thoughts on this? Would you want them to resume in-person classes at your kids school?
