Major Storm Hits the Treasure Valley with Tornado Warning Nearby
I just took a little nap and awoke to thunder and a major downpour! I'm in Meridian; what have you experienced where you are?
According to an article on KTVB, pingpong sized hail and 60 mph winds are expected to the Treasure Valley during this storm.
The severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for Canyon County, Ada County, Elmore County and Owyhee County.
The warning advises people to bring their animals indoors if possible. Damage from the hail and wind is expected hit roofs, trees, cars, siding, and windows.
The tornado warning is for Cassia County, but is only expected to last until 3:15 p.m.
