What in the world is going on over at Taco Bell headquarters?! I would love to know who's brilliant idea it was to start cutting popular menu items that everyone knows and loves. I would also love to know who the people are that supported these ludicrous ideas. On Thursday (Sep. 3), Taco Bell announced they will be removing some items from their menu to make room for new innovations. Pico de gallo, shredded chicken, and the fan-favorite Mexican Pizza will all be disappearing from the menu by Nov. 5th. Although getting rid of the Mexican Pizza seems like a personal attack, I'm more concerned about the elimination of shredded chicken. That means that the Shredded Chicken Soft Taco, Shredded Chicken Burrito, and Shredded Chicken Quesadilla Melt will all no longer be available.

You may remember back in August Taco Bell made some extreme menu changes  getting rid of the 7-Layer Burrito, Spicy Potato Soft Taco, Grilled Steak Soft Taco and the Nachos Supreme. The Beefy Fritos Burrito, the Spicy Tostada, the Triple Layer Nachos, Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes, and Cheesy Potato Loaded Grillers are also all cut from the Cravings Menu.

All of these changes aren't for just for nothing though. Taco Bell will be introducing new menu items in November. The Dragonfruit Freeze Chicken Chipotle Melt will be rolled out nationally. Green sauce will be served regionally and the Quesalupa is being tested in Tennessee.
