5 Discontinued Fast Food Menu Items I Wish They’d Bring Back

McDonald's just announced on Monday that they will be adding three new chicken sandwiches to their menu. The Crispy Chicken Sandwich, topped with pickles and served on a potato roll, the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, which adds a spicy pepper sauce, and the Deluxe Chicken Sandwich, which comes with lettuce, tomatoes and mayo.

The new chicken additions come after fast food restaurants were battling for the best chicken sandwich prompting McDonald's to want to step up their game. In fact, McDonalds's even revealed they, "want customers to choose McDonald's for chicken."

That statement trigged me I'm not going to lie. I would gladly choose McDonald's for chicken if only they would bring back their chicken snack wraps!! I have been silently begging McDonald's to bring these back for what feels like years although they are reported to have officially disappeared off menus in 2019.

This isn't the first time I've felt personally attacked after a fast food place removes a popular item from their menu. Below is a short list of 5 discounted fast food menu items I wish they'd bring back.

1. McDonald's Chicken Snack Wraps - These were the only thing I ate off McDonald's menu. They were filling, tasty, and not too unhealthy. Crispy ranch is my go-to although they did offer grilled chicken as well. RIP chicken snack wrap. May we meet again someday.
2. Taco Bell Mexican Pizza - Taco Bell recently with through a menu purge that made us say goodbye to many popular menu items. The Mexican pizza being one of them and also one of my all-time Tbell favorites.
3. Taco Bell  Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes - This is a selective list but Taco Bell has two ex-menu items making the cut. 2020 was a hard year.
4. Jack in the Box's Cheesy Macaroni Bites - These were genuine Kraft-style mac-and-cheese, fried into a perfect orange triangle. Jack in the Box actually tested these again in 2020 at restaurants in California and Nevada.
5. Chick-fil-A's Chicken Salad Sandwich - When these disappeared from Chick-fil-A's menu in 2017, they were at least considerate enough to provide the recipe on their website for lovers of the chicken salad sandwich.
