Ski Season is Here for Season Ticket Holders
Ski season is officially here! Some ski resorts are allowing early access for some skiers and snowboarders this week and over the holiday weekend. Bogus Basin is opening for it's 2020-2021 winter season this Friday but only for a select few. If you're a season pass holder, you're one of the lucky ones who will have early access to the slopes starting Friday and lasting all the way through Sunday.
A few early snowstorms along with weather that has been just perfect for snowmaking conditions have allowed the ski resort to do something they haven't done in years; open up all ten of the nonprofit's lifts. That's right all ten lifts will be operational for opening day. Bogus Basin will be close again on Monday and Tuesday and will reopen officially for daily operations on Wednesday, December 2nd.
Brundage Mountain is also letting it's season pass and four-pak holders take advantage of their slopes early. Three chair lifts will be open on Wednesday as a sneak peak into the rest of the winter season. By the way, in case you missed it, Brundage Mountain was just named the second best ski resort in all of North America by USA TODAY! Pretty cool.
Coming from Indiana where we're known for our flatlands, I've never done anything close to skiing or snowboarding unless we want to count sledding down some small hills. I'm excited to experience winter here in Idaho by trying something totally new. I'll catch ya on those bunny slopes!
