Travel in 2020 is pretty nightmare-ish. Sometimes it's cool to play tourist here at home in Idaho. We moved our honeymoon plan from Spain to a beautiful, quiet part of Idaho and couldn't be more excited!

Within drivin distance to the Treasure Valley, where can you play tourist at home and enjoy some nature, some views or just some flat out fun? An easy answer could be taking the quick drive to Twin Falls to see the waterfalls or a trip up to bogus, maybe even a cold hike up to Table Rock. There's just so much beauty in the state of Idaho. We thought about heading up to McCall for our honeymoon and staying next to Payette Lake, but then we decided we'd head up to Tamarack resort to spend a week in the winter seeing the beauty that Idaho has to offer. We'll have a cabin with a private, out door hot tub which will be absolutely perfect for our winter honeymoon getaway.

If you head out of Idaho, there's obviously Portland and Seattle and all that Oregon and Washington have to offer. If you wanna take a chance at the slots in Jackpot, NV that's only a few hours away. Though we're kind of on an island relative to other cities, there's so much in Idaho and in the region to see and play tourist without ever stepping foot on a plane. Just because we're restricted, doesn't mean we have to be stuck, right? Get out and play tourist here! Don't forget your fanny pack and camera!
