Online Shopping: Supporting Black Owned Businesses

The pandemic has me online shopping more than ever. In terms of social distancing and quarantining, online shopping can be considered a safety precaution. The fact that I'm buying random things because bored since social life has been basically canceled is something I'll just gloss over. I'm helping keep the economy stimulated! And as a POC it is important to me to support black owned businesses as they face a high likelihood of going under as a result of Covid-19.

Beauty Bakerie is my go-to for makeup. I don't wear a ton of makeup, but I'm obsessed with lip colors and they carry a wide selection off matte, metallic, glossy, and creme lip whips for every mood. My favorite right now is Ginger Snap. And their products are cruelty-free!

Israella provided me with the comfiest slides ever (I've been through a few pairs). And they almost always have a sale or coupon code you can use, so there's no reason not to stock up on their tops and dresses while you're on the site. I'm just waiting for an occasion to wear the Adiliene Suspender Dress.

I'll be spending the rest of my weekend (and paycheck) shopping online and encourage you to do the same so I feel less guilty that I'm buying a wardrobe I don't necessarily need at the moment.
