The Idaho Humane Society says they see a steady stream of strays coming in after  the Fourth of July which make for a busy couple of weeks for the shelter.

Since Sunday they have seen about 20 strays coming in and they say its from the loud noises of fireworks and large crowds that scare them to run away.

They anticipate that they’ll probably see between 40 and 50 more stray animals.

If your pet is missing, check the Humane Society regularly as new strays are brought to them.
