Nicole Says Goodbye to The Mix Morning Show

Before I get to the hard part, I just want to say "thank you" so much to everyone who has supported me over the past two years and who welcomed me into this position with open arms.

I want to thank Mike for welcoming me to The Mix Morning Show after Kate left. After being together for 15 years, it couldn't have been easy to learn a whole new woman. I mean, we're not easy creatures to begin with. Thank you for allowing me to share my life with the Treasure Valley and not beating me to a pulp when I accidentally shared my disgust for bacon.

I've struggled with the decision for awhile, but it ultimately came down to needing to focus on my family and the time, energy, and responsibilities that come along with this position just weren't allowing it.

Our thirteen-year-old son is in a behavioral therapy school in Utah and quick visits on the weekends just aren't enough. We need to be able to visit during the week with him and the staff on a consistent basis.
