If it feels like this has been a wetter winter (starting with some above average snowfall and continuing with rain), you are exactly right.  That's good for our lawns, but challenging too. 

It does mean that growing season was a bit delayed, but judging by the weeds and lawn growth in my yard, things are catching up quite quickly.  There's a good chance we're going to see more rain this weekend as well, so if you're planning to get some yard work done, you probably want to do it this week.

According to the Weather Service, this is the wettest winter on record for at least three Idaho cities including Garden Valley, McCall, and Jerome.  So far, it's the third wettest in Boise.
