Snow at Christmas?  It's actually pretty rare this year across the US.

We wouldn't expect to see snow in states like Texas and Florida, and of course those states don't have snow on the ground right now.  But even portions of states like Nebraska, Kansas, and Illinois are snow-free right now.  I grew up in Nebraska and my memory has just about every Christmas being a white one.  But maybe that's just in my nostalgic little head.  I do vividly remember being snowed in one year at Christmas in Nebraska, and we just put on flannel pants and played games, and it was kinda fun!

Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, and Washington have snow cover, and are in a section of the US that's hit the jackpot with snow.  No other place in the US has as much snow right now.  It's a great time to ski!
