The annual Touch-A-Truck event at Albertsons Stadium in downtown Boise is one of my family's favorites. My two-year-old son is in the phase now of being fascinated by big trucks and emergency vehicle sirens. I can't wait to see his face now that he is older and will understand more of what's happening.

The Junior League of Boise puts together this event every year to give kids the hands-on opportunity to explore working trucks of all types and to meet the people who build, protect, and serve the Treasure Valley. Trucks on display include construction trucks, emergency vehicles, vintage trucks and more.

Touch-A-Truck runs from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. this Saturday, September 9.

Admission is FREE (donations accepted).
