Our friends and owners of the Indian Creek Steakhouse in Caldwell have decided to open another new business this time is all about sweets. That's right they are putting in an 'old fashioned' candy shop.

According to the Idaho Press, the building will be close to 600-square-feet and will be located on the corner of Main and Kimball streets, the building used to be J's Cleaners.

The name of the new business going in downtown Caldwell will be "The Indian Creek Candy Shop". And you can expect older candies no longer readily available like candy cigarettes, gum cigars and taffy.

They will also feature soda machines, shaved ice, ice cream and cotton candy. They hope to have the doors open no later than May 11th, but there is still some work that needs to be completed prior to the doors opening.

The Caldwell downtown area continues to see improvements every year, this is a fun way to bring back some childhood memories and create some new ones.
