Boise Has an Eco-Friendly Kids Play Space
The cold weather came back with a vengeance in the past few days and spoiled our outdoor plans for the holiday weekend. As a mom, I often struggle to find things to do with my toddler when it's cold outside and we can't go to the park or pool. Even though the Treasure Valley has tons of fun indoor spots for kids like Wahooz, Urban Air, and Big Al's, I still feel that these places are much more suited for my teenager than my two year old. However, I recently heard of an awesome spot that is great for little ones!
Urban Green Kids, located at 10870 W Fairview Avenue in Boise, is an eco-friendly indoor play space that is great for kids ages 0-6. They are Montessori and Waldorf inspired, so your toddlers are encouraged to develop hands-on skills and learn in a relaxing environment while playing with a variety of fun, eco-friendly toys. Urban Green also offers a variety of workshops, classes, and opportunities for parents, making it a great place to meet other moms and dads in the Boise community.
Urban Green Kids is open 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturdays. Passes start at $10 per child and monthly memberships are available. Half price admission is offered every Monday from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.
