Forget the election already and let's just forward to the snow. We don't need a ton but something great to play in. I also want to know the best play to celebrate Winter which includes me hiding from the rest of the political world.

Let's say we don't want leave but need to keep it close to home. What will actually be happening this year? You might be excited to know Winter Garden aGlow is on the calendar and will happen this year.

The Idaho Botanical Gardens won't disappoint this year as they bring back holiday tradition. Winter Garden aGlow showcases the special things about Christmas including Santa and Mrs. Claus where you can drop off letters for the world's favorite couple. I mean that's where I'm dropping my list!

Check out some of the things.

  • Garden Cottage where Santa stays.
  • Postcard delivery post.
  • Local vendors with tasty foods and drinks.
  • Holiday Express Model Train Display.
  • The amazing tunnel of lights
  • and more

We have seen so many annual events get canceled and setbacks as we rolled back to Stage 3. The good thing right now is how great businesses have gotten at social distancing and wearing masks. This helps events like Winter Garden aGlow manage expectations for this major attraction.

You will be required to wear a mask like the staff for safety. Idaho Botanical Gardens will also have one-way paths that direct you through.

Tickets just went on sale and there is everything from family packages to corporate levels. Volunteers are also wanted if you're looking to donate some free time.
