Christmas is over and the big debate is when to take down the Christmas decorations?

There's a lot of different traditions when it comes to this. My family descends from Sweden and apparently you're not supposed to take the decor down until January 16th.

According to msn.com, in the Victorian Era, everything came down on the 12th night of Christmas. If you left up your decorations longer you were cursed with bad luck.

A lot of people believe that taking your Christmas tree down before New Year's Eve ensures that you don't bring bad luck into the new year. I've typically taken the tree down on New Year's day unless I'm going to be out of town.

When do you take down your Christmas tree and all the decorations? Please let us know in the comments.
