Trip Advisor says the best thing about living in the Treasure Valley is the Boise River Greenbelt.  Agree?  What's on your can't-miss list?

The Boise River Greenbelt has been reviewed more than 600 times on Trip Advisor, and the site ranks it #1 out of 101 things to do in Boise.  It's pretty.  And it's active.  And today might be the perfect day to go, with a forecast of Sunny and 78 this afternoon.

Other bright spots on the Best of Idaho list include Payette Lake in McCall, Kathryn Albertson Park in Boise,  the Old Idaho Penitentiary, the Museum of Clean in Pocatello, and the Idaho State Capitol Building.

How many of us get so sucked in by our own routines that we never visit the cool/beautiful/historic things right here in our own backyard?  I've been to Costco way more times than I've been to the State Capitol building.  I love that huge jar of almond butter, but maybe it's better to take a detour and hit some history on the way to the store once in awhile.

And this Museum of Clean....most of the reviews seem to agree that it's surprisingly intriguing, and might inspire you on your own quest to live green.  At the very least, maybe it will encourage the kids to clean up their rooms so we won't puncture our foot arch on a Lego.
