Black Friday seems to get crazier every year with shops opening up earlier, cutting into that time we usually spend with our loved ones. However, according to a survey by the National Retail Federation, more Americans have decided to savor their Thanksgiving weekend and forego Black Friday for Cyber Monday instead.

So what are these online shoppers searching for? In our state, I was surprised to learn that it was cosmetics! Yes cosmetics are the number one item shoppers in Idaho are searching for...and specifically Sephora.

A report by HighSpeedInternet.com revealed that Idaho's beauty addicts swarmed Google last Cyber Monday (2016) in search of online deals at Sephora. Given the crazy lines you find at our state's only full Sephora store in Boise Towne Square each weekend, it's easy to see why online shopping is favorable over braving the Black Friday insanity.

Though Sephora did offer Black Friday deals this year, their Cyber Monday sales are known to be either the same or in some cases even better than Black Friday.
