What Are The All Time Greatest Movies?

My fiance and I are discussing watching some movies we haven't seen. Y'know, the ones that people go "you HAVEN'T seen that?" when you tell them? I recently watched Pulp Fiction because everyone said you HAVE to see it, and it wasn't very good. What are some other must sees?

I knocked this one out a couple of years ago, but people used to LOSE THEIR MINDS when they found out I had never seen Pulp Fiction. Watched it, wasn't a fan. Probably my all-time favorite movie is The Departed with Jack Nicholson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon and all the other mega stars that are in that film. I love the American Pie series, I get down with iconic films like Titanic, so my interests are all over the place.

I will be honest with you and tell you the big cult like film series' like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and all that are NOT my thing. Maybe I haven't ever given them a proper chance but it's not my thing.

So we're making a list of all-time great movies, what should we put on it? Home Alone? The Godfather? Scarface? Saving Private Ryan? It could be anything, but what are the BEST?
