Boise has quite a few pizza places to choose from and I would argue that the only thing better than a pizza place is a pizza buffet. Anything is possible when at a pizza buffet. You can tire out the kids with all the carbs and cheese while you getting to indulge in the greatness that is bottomless pizza. Also – there is nothing quite like hitting the pizza buffet (or any buffet for that matter) during the cold months of winter. There’s no feeling more satisfying than hitting the couch after a buffet – even if you’re not supposed to lie down after a meal.

While we certainly have a lot of tasty pizza spots to choose from, I’m bummed to have recently learned that there isn’t a CiCi’s Pizza in the Treasure Valley or a plethora of pizza buffets. I'm not talking about buffets that offer pizza, I'm talking about pizza buffets. If you know or have been to CiCi’s Pizza, you’ll understand my sadness. Again, that’s not to say that there aren’t great pizza buffets in the Treasure Valley because we all know there are. It’s just that there’s something about CiCi’s Pizza that, for me at least, isn’t only nostalgic but also delicious, especially their Alfredo-only pizza.

That being said – I was saddened to discover that there weren't many options for pizza buffets anymore. There's no doubt that buffers in general were affected by COVID-19 but does that now mean that pizza buffets are a thing of the past? There are a few places in town that still offer some sort of pizza buffet but for the first time in a long time, I am hoping (no, seriously) that I am wrong about this. I want you to email me and tell me I missed a spot. Let me know that I did because not only will it make my day, but it will also give me hope that pizza buffets are not extinct.

Without further ado, let's take a look at the two reigning champs for pizza buffets in Boise.
