Restaurants won't ask if you're in love before giving you these deals, so single people, take advantage!  There will be freebies for everybody in February.

February is going to be a good month for deals on chicken nuggets, pizza, subs, coffee, and more.  Several Treasure Valley restaurants are planning to offer discounts and freebies according to RetailMeNot, and the list is expected to grow.

Valentine's Day Restaurant Specials, from RetailMeNot

Auntie Anne’s: The pretzel chain plans to present its Valentine’s Day specials throughout the holiday week, unveiling surprise delivery offers from February 10 through 13. Then on February 14, Auntie Anne’s is offering buy-one-get-one heart-shaped pretzels in-store only. This offer is available at participating locations via the Pretzel Perks app.

Chick-fil-A: Chick-fil-A is offering 30-count nuggets, 6-count chocolate chunk cookies and 10-count chick-n-minis in the shape of a heart. These special trays are available at participating restaurants until February 29, while supplies last. Availability varies by location.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit: On Valentine’s Day, you can order two meat plates for only $24. Choose from options like authentic slow-smoked meats, two savory sides, and a buttery roll.  (There's a location in Garden City.)

Firehouse Subs: This sandwich shop is running a special sub special on February 14. After 4 p.m., get a free medium sub with the purchase of an additional medium or large sub, chips and a drink.

Jack in the Box: In 2019, Jack in the Box offered customers who place an order through their mobile app a free five-piece churro, cheesecake or regular shake on February 14. RetailMeNot predicts they will run this promo again.

Mrs. Fields: Right now, Mrs. Fields is offering $15 off sitewide with code “LOVE” on their website.

TCBY: On Friday, February 14, TCBY is celebrating with a BOGO offer. Order a special Valentine’s Day flavor like soft-serve Chocolate Covered Strawberry Swirl or hand-scooped Strawberry & Cream and get another one free.

February 14th falls on a Friday this year so it will be a great date night, and a busy day overall for restaurants.  Most people do plan on dining out on Valentine's Day instead of staying in, so now is the time to make a reservation if you're planning to go to a spot that's at least a little fancier than fast-casual.

And when you find heart-shaped pizzas, donuts, and french fry platters, put 'em on social media!  There can never be enough of those.  The food tastes exactly the same as it does every other day and the heart shape is ruined with the first bite, but it's novel and fun and it deserves a like.

If we hear of other restaurants adding Valentine's Day freebies, we'll post those too.
