Do you like games, arcades and feeling nostalgic? This place is worth the drive adding to your next Oregon trip and just received a pretty prestigious award.
"Hillsboro’s Next Level Pinball Shop & Museum bills itself as the largest arcade in Oregon. It can add to that, best place to play pinball in the world, after winning Favorite Pinball Location at the annual TWIPY Pinball Awards, held Saturday in Frisco, Texas." - oregonlive.com
Best in the world?! Heck yea! The place really is next level. As far as visiting goes, it is $20 per person admission with in-and-out access all day long.
The Next Level website says, "There are over 500 games on the floor including 235+ pinball machines and 265+ arcade games, with 475 on free play. The additional 30 pieces are items like claw machines, a photo booth, and games that give collectible cards. We are also a 20,000sq foot pop culture museum with floor to ceiling lunch boxes, signed movie paraphernalia, and toys & collectibles."

If you are looking for more than just a fun casual visit for the day, you should know that you won't get to every game. They actually say it would take about three and a half days to get to play all the games. If you are a serious or talented player... well Friday is your visit day for the Pinball Tournaments. The tournaments take place on Friday nights starting at 7pm. The same $20 regular admission gets you in the door and then an additional $5 gets you into the tournament.
"One dollar of the buy-in goes to the IFPA which sanctions the events for State and National pinball rankings, the other $4 goes into the prize pool for the night! We vary formats every week and they are designed for new and experienced players alike! Oregon has a huge competitive scene, so tournaments can be as competitive or as social as you like." - Next Level
