The Happiest 5K on the Planet Comes to Boise This Weekend

It's The Color Run and it happens this Saturday in Boise and you still have a chance to grab your friends and get signed up to be a part of this fun event plus get a special Mix 106 discount.

The Color Run is the largest event series in the world and the first of its kind. It started in 2012,  with the number one goal being to produce the ‘Happiest 5k on the Planet’ giving participants an unforgettable experience. With no winners or official times, The Color Run celebrates healthiness, happiness, and individuality, helping participants achieve their fitness goals by providing a fun, entertaining and non-competitive running environment.

The Color Run is a for-profit event and as a for-profit event management company, The Color Run partners with different charities to help shine a light on their amazing work within the community and the causes they stand for. The Color Run has raised donations for more than 80 local and national charities since 2012. To date, The Color Run has donated more than $5 million to charity since its founding in 2012.

This year The Color Run has a new partnership with Lay’s® potato chips, who will be the 2017 presenting sponsor for the 5k paint races throughout North America.
