While the Treasure Valley continues to expand so does the opportunity for higher education. The College Of Western Idaho is making plans to grow.

The Nampa campus has been opened for just under 7 years and already more than 20,000 students have signed up and taken classes as well as online courses. This week "Vision 2040" has been unvieled as a plan to expand to a state of the art health science building and student success center aimed at centralizing student services. 80,000 square feet is planned for construction that will upgrade the Student Health Science Building making more jobs on campus and make an overall upgrade for student campus life.

The President of The College Of Western Idaho was quoted in a story from KTVB.com as saying

"We're brand new, we're only five six years old," said Glandon. "We can turn on a dime, we have a leadership team, we have a faculty that's passionate, dedicated, and committed to figuring out how to institute innovation and education and how to provide student success at all levels."
