As rental scams become more frequent throughout the Treasure Valley, a local resident tells his story in an effort to warn others.

Our neighborhood may be being scammed out of their money by someone who wasn't ACTUALLY playing the violin.

We thought we were getting a new puppy, but instead, we were scammed out of $750 and the puppy didn't exist. Oh, how do these people live with themselves?! After falling victim to a gut-wrenching puppy scam, and I'll share every step in the process so the same thing doesn't happen to you.

Some things are too good to be true and this may be one.

You may think it will never happen to you, or if it does, you'll never fall for it, but these scammers are pretty sneaky. Here's the scams circling around the Treasure Valley that you've got to be really careful not to fall for.

I hate people who try to scam other people out of their money.  They prey on the people who can afford to lose their money the least, people living on fixed incomes like senior citizens and people who are out of a job. This scam works because it makes you think that Walmart is giving you a little something extra. Instead it's doing the exact opposite.
