Superstition: The Lengths I Went To Avoid Seeing Her Dress Prior To The Wedding
Look, our wedding was postponed TWICE in 2020 and we finally got to have it on the second downtown at the Capitol Building. Am I crazy superstitious to do all THIS to avoid seeing the dress?
By the way, she said "yes" to the dress back in August of 2019 and it's been hanging in our guest bedroom closet for a long time without me seeing it. After the pandemic and having our wedding postponed twice and all that, I figured our wedding didn't need anymore bad luck so when she had it re-fitted and brought it home, they told her it needed to not be in the bag, but to hang so it didn't wrinkle. We needed enough space that it could fully hang without touching the ground and the inside of our house just isn't tall enough. In addition to that, we have dogs so we didn't want dog hair on the dress so I built this GRADE A fortress in our garage to keep the dress from not only getting dirty, but being seen by me prior to the wedding.
Call me crazy or superstitious BUT here we are over two weeks into our marriage and so far it's going swimmingly. Here's a list of celebrity couples whose marriages we've outlasted:
Nicolas Cage and Erika Koike: 4 days
Britney Spears and Jason Alexander: 55 hours
See? Not so crazy after all! -Moug
