"We aim to create a more Inclusive Idaho for all Idahoans through advocacy, education, programs, community events, and policy change.

We believe that inclusion is the solution to the societal barriers of belonging and advancement for BIPOC Idahoans, women, those with disabilities , immigrants, refugees, and the LGBTQIIA+ community."

That is the mission of Inclusive Idaho as detailed on their website. So in honor of Martin Luther King Jr Day, a holiday observing the efforts of its namesake in his quest for inclusivity, equality, and unity, Inclusive Idaho has shared a guide to celebrate the day in a fashion fitting to his legacy.

Sure, MLK Jr Day gives us a three day weekend, but it also gives us an opportunity to do meaningful work for the betterment of our community in the spirit of love that Dr. King advocated. Here are a few things from Inclusive Idaho's Community Impact Guide to help you celebrate this beautiful Monday.

As cheesy as it sounds, and as much as I always want to sing it in the tune of the High School Musical song, we're all in this together. Let's take the time to remember that and act accordingly. Happy MLK Jr Day!
