Storm Starts Multiple Fires in the Boise National Forest
There has been multiple storms recently but the one that rolled through on Thursday night started a few fires.
Tripod Lookout, Warm Lake Lodge, and south of Garden Mountain all have small fires reported. With more suspect weather on the way this week the chance of lightning caused fires are probable.
A lot of my friends were talking about Thursday nights storm and I was thinking more of Friday afternoon right before noon started raining hard with lightning and one person I talked to said one of the lightning strikes was on the edge of Eagle. Thursday's storm rolled in hard and left evidence by these fires.
None of these fire in the Boise National Forest are over 5 acres last time I checked. Hoping that the storms that we do get for fall don't start a ton of wildfires.
