Idaho Made Pickles, ‘Dilly’s’ Are Delicious
We recently teamed up with Idaho Preferred, and I found out about a ton of locally grown and made products. September is peak season for Idaho grown products.
I was at the Albertsons on Market Street and came across the pickle isle cause I love pickles, but I came across some local pickles named Dilly's, Idaho Preferred has a great list of brands, and stuff made right here. Had no idea that this delicious yellow watermelon is grown in Meridian. The folks at Dillys team up with local growers such as Tellez Farms, Wagner Farms, Purdum Farms and Froerer Farms. Robin and Jessica purchased this business back in 2016. It started with a lady out of Midvale who used her grandma's pickle recipe.
Now I am on the hunt for great local fruits and vegetables. I tried these last night and they were warm from the shelf and good, so I imagine give them some chill and they are even better. Dilly’s Pickled Veggies, find them and support local.
