Something To Do This Weekend: Buy A Time Capsule

I was supposed to get married this weekend, but, ya know, Coronvirus. Instead, we've asked our friends and family to write letters to us to put in a time capsule that we'll open up in twenty years.

One of our Mix 106 listeners called and recommended this, and I'm really excited about it. We were supposed to get married tomorrow (4/25/2020) but it's been postponed, so to honor our originally planned wedding date, we ordered a time capsule!

We've asked our family and friends to write us letters that we'll open up on April 25th, 2040, in twenty years. We're really excited about it, though there are some things that are making us reflect. Our parents are in their 60's, and while we're hopeful they'll still be around, you can never be too sure. To that end, we don't even know if both of us will be around in twenty years. Anything can happen in that amount of time, right?

We're going to write letters to each other, and I'd like to write a letter to myself to talk about career goals and what life was like in this crazy 2020. Sounds fun and it sounds like the moment we open our time capsule in 20 years has the potential to be highly emotional.
