I got married inside the Capitol Building in Downtown Boise two Saturdays ago. Here's why I recommend this if you or someone you know is planning a small wedding in 2021.
After weeks of trying to pick the perfect place to have our dinner/reception after our elopement, with a smile in my face and a full tummy, I share why Barbacoa is the big winner.
We've looked at Barbacoa, Cottonwood Grille and Fork over on 8th street. Our wedding plan has changed to a small elopement and now we need a place for our dinner/reception. Who has Boise's best private dining room experience?
Ya know, this year has been pretty insane. We had a wedding planned for April 25th, then we moved it to November 7th and now, we're thinking we may just tie the knot in a teeny tiny ceremony at the Idaho Capitol Building.
Our wedding has officially been cancelled. We've decided we're going to elope instead. Is it weird that I'm kind of excited about our new plan? And where should we honeymoon? McCall? Some other cool local, but not TOO close to home spot? Any ideas?
I know I write a lot about the whole wedding thing but it's a confusing year... We had planned a big wedding for April 25th and had to move it, now we're thinking of scrapping it all and doing something different.
Long story short, I was supposed to get married near San Diego and have this crazy big wedding with lots of guests, but Covid has changed that, and now we want to get married here in Idaho, but where should we?
I cringe when I think about this. There was something given to me that my grandma had intended to be a wedding present and I LOST it, before even getting married!
