Yesterday was an extraordinary day for the State of Idaho, the City of Boise, The US Women's Olympic Cycling Team and for Kristen Armstrong. Records were broken and history was made. There is a chance now for you to ride down the same roads as this Olympic Gold Medalist.

The Kristen Armstrong Bikeway on Bogus Basin Road is the stretch or roadway in Boise that the 3 time Gold Medalist personally chose for her name sake trail back in 2010 after her win in the 2008 Beijing Olympics.  This 8 mile stretch  from Curling Road to the Ada County line and is marked by special signs and already has had the UPDATE of the 3rd Gold.

Want to celebrate Armstrong's historic win in Brazil? Boise Mayor Dave Bieter said that the city will host a celebration for Armstrong upon her return from Rio. The details of that celebration are still being worked out.
